Pocketed, now called Pocketed, a Deloitte business, will be integrated into Deloitte’s Gi3 practice, which plays a pivotal role in fostering collaborations with funding agencies, and providing essential support to clients in securing various forms of non-dilutive funding.

You can continue using the Pocketed platform and services as usual! Joining Deloitte brings new opportunities to enhance our offerings, providing you with additional resources, potential improvements, and ongoing support.
2. Will the Pocketed platform continue to operate?
Yes! The Pocketed platform is here to stay. We remain committed to maintaining and continuously enhancing its features to better support you.
3. Who is Deloitte, and why did they acquire Pocketed?
Deloitte, one of the world’s largest professional services firms, provides industry-leading consulting, tax and legal, audit and assurance, technology & transformation and strategy, risk & transaction services to nearly 90% of the Fortune Global 500® and thousands of private companies. They bring together world- class capabilities, insights, and services to address clients’ most complex business challenges.

Product & Feature Updates
4. Will any features or functionality change?
There are no major changes planned at this time. We’ll continue supporting all existing features and will keep you informed well in advance of any future updates.
5. Will my data and settings remain intact?
Absolutely! Your data, settings, and preferences remain unchanged. However, there are updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that you can review and accept at your convenience.
Pricing & Subscription
6. Will my current pricing or subscription change?
Your current pricing and plan remain the same. We’re always happy to discuss fees for any new services you may be interested in!
7. Will my billing process change?
For now, billing will continue as usual. If any changes occur, you will receive clear instructions in advance.

8. Will I still have access to customer support?

14. Will my data be moved to a different system?
Your data stored within the Pocketed platform or Pocketed Enterprise platform will remain unchanged. However, please note that certain documents related to grant and SR&ED writing services may be stored within Deloitte’s secure servers.
15. Will I need to update my login credentials or authentication methods?
No, your login credentials and authentication process remain unchanged.
Client Onboarding Due Diligence Process for Pocketed Clients
16. What is the client onboarding due diligence process?
As part of Deloitte Canada the client onboarding due diligence process ensures that we comply with regulatory standards before accepting or continuing an engagement, preventing conflicts of interest, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
17. Why do I need to go through a client onboarding due diligence process?
As part of Deloitte Canada we need to ensure that every client relationship is aligned with Deloitte’s compliance requirements. This helps us maintain the highest level of integrity and independence, which is essential to delivering the best service and resources to you.
18. How long does the independence check take?
The process typically takes 2-3 business days to complete. During this time, you will still have free access to Pocketed Basic.
19. When will payment be processed?
Your payment will be processed once you have cleared our client onboarding due diligence process.
20. Why do I have to wait?
As a Deloitte Canada business, access to Pocketed is subject to a client onboarding due diligence process.
21. What happens once the client onboarding due diligence process is complete?
Once the client onboarding due diligence process is complete, we will process your payment and notify you via email. You’ll be able to continue accessing your Pocketed services without interruption.
22. Do I need to do anything on my end?
No action is required from you. The process is handled by Deloitte Canada, and we’ll update you once everything is complete.
23. Will this process affect my ability to use Pocketed?
While the client onboarding due diligence process is being completed, you’ll have access to Pocketed Basic at no cost. Once the process is complete, any applicable payments will be processed.

User Access & Accounts
25. Will my user account stay the same?
